Support Crew

Support crews are responsible for their rider

TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

The IDR 200 is not an event for entry-level cyclists. Riders will be on their own for each 50 mile section. With the time frame given to complete the event, riders will not have the option of sleep, nor much rest. Participants are solely responsible for their personal well-being.

STAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR RIDER

Please be aware… if your rider breaks down or becomes injured, it is their responsibility to contact you for help. We will not be able to come to their rescue. The event promotors and sponsors are not responsible for participants’ safety or well-being. Please print out the course maps beforehand and have these with you! Make sure you know which direction to go after each pit stop. We will make the maps available for download a few weeks before the race starts.

HAVE AN EMERGENCY PLAN

If you sign up for this event, make sure you and your rider have a well thought out emergency back-up plan. If you do not feel you are prepared to meet such a challenge, please consider a shorter route option.
